The hotel definitely did not reflect what was advertised or what I paid for, which ate into 2 hours of our short stay being sorted out. The rooms need updating and are in a tired shape. On the positive side, the service was nice and helpful, even though there was a bit of a focus on the event happening in the hotel. The location is lovely and served well as a touring base. The dining experience was terrible with a lackluster breakfast, but there were lots of choices available for those staying for a wedding. Overall, a decent place but with room for improvement.
The hotel rooms were clean and in very good condition, although starting to look tired with a gloomy bathroom. The service was enjoyable and the staff very friendly and attentive. The location was convenient for our trip but required some decorating attention. The dining experience was disappointing with limited options and cold dishes. The facilities need some attention but have potential.
